I began writing a month of thankfulness posts on facebook and it was actually very fun for me! I have not written in years! I have been too busy being a wife, a mom, a teacher, a mentor, a real estate agent and a child advocate against sexual offenders. Through all of that, I still love to write. What is quite funny, is that I do not journal. I have tried many times and I find it very difficult. I am working on that now, as I find journaling to be very freeing and very valuable when God speaks to you. I will encourage you, as we begin this journey of writing and as you are reading what God lays on my heart, that you will begin to journal your own journey and write down what God speaks to you as we travel this together! I would love to hear what God says to you through His words, and through writings!
I am going to begin a year of devotions beginning on January 1, 2013 (assuming the world has not come to an end and we are not all gone, raptured up, or in hiding somewhere)! I would love feedback, encouragement and ideas if you have any. My goal is to be an encouragement to you as my reader, speak what God has laid on my heart that day, and enjoy the journey! I guess calling them devotions is not really accurate. They may or may not all have to do with God, they may or may not be deep and introspective....some may just be fun and joyful!
